Product Description
Marley Counterflow Cooling Tower FB20 PVC Film Fills constructed using fire-retardant PVC sheets that are bonded to form blocks of cooling media. The microstructure of the surface promotes air and water mixing, enhancing the surface cooling area. The vertical offset flutes redirect air and water flow, optimizing thermal efficiency and significantly reducing the risk of fouling. This film fill is a popular choice for field-erected and packaged counterflow cooling towers, particularly in industries such as power generation, refining, chemical processing, steel manufacturing, and food processing where the water quality may be slightly polluted.
Our Marley Counterflow Cooling Tower FB20 PVC Film Fill are made from high-quality, corrugated PVC films, edge-folded and vacuum-formed to ensure extended service life. The edge-folding technology reduces erosion, providing greater protection for the equipment, and contributes to a longer operational lifespan. These fills promote maximum contact between air and water, facilitating higher evaporation rates and more efficient cooling. As water moves through the fill via gravity, it cools down and is collected in a basin to be recirculated.
