Liangchi PVC Cooling Tower fill's design maximizes air-to-water contact, thus boosting cooling efficiency. Liangchi specializes in producing crossflow cooling tower fills, which are differentiated into two surface types, A and B, based on the gluing points. The gap between two fill sheets ranges between 19-20mm, and the thickness varies from 0.27mm to 0.38mm. The dimensions of each fill piece are fixed, and there are four standard sizes available: 750mm x 800mm, 750mm x 1600mm, 1000mm x 1200mm, and 375mm x 800mm.
Types of Liangchi Cooling Tower Fills
Crossflow Fill
This type allows air to pass horizontally through the fill while water flows vertically. Crossflow fills are ideal for applications requiring quick cooling of large water volumes. Liangchi’s crossflow fill includes a highly efficient drift eliminator, molded with air inlet louvers. It spreads water into a thin film over vertical surfaces, maximizing air exposure for higher cooling efficiency. This design offers more surface area for water compared to splash-type fills.
Counterflow Fill
In counterflow fills, air flows vertically, opposite the water flow. These fills are typically more efficient and are used in demanding industrial cooling applications.
