Q-Pac packing media mainly applied in wet scrubbing/air strpping equipment.Its uniformly spaced bar-and-rod design and self-cleaning properties minimize plugging by mineral scale of biological growth. That means less down time for maintenance.Additionally, The Q-Pac tower packing media has natural affinity for oil, and provide high surface area in the form of uniformly spaced rods with no narrow joints that tend to trap sludge particles. Round rods pointing downward allow suspended solid particles to fall from the coalescing media into the sludge compartment for periodic collection.

Higher Gas Velocity, smaller Equipment Q-Pac can be used at higher gas velocities than old-style tower packings. Scrubbers and gas-cooling tower can be designde at well above conventional velocities without sacrificing efficiency. Capital costs can be cut by building smaller-diameter columns, often with smaller pumps and mist elimiators.
